alaina | 9 months

I really didn’t think Alaina could out-do the cuteness that was her 6 month session, but she amazed me at the end of last month when we met up for her 9 month session!  We went back and forth about locations, trying to find somewhere – anywhere – that had a single leaf left, and don’t you know that the spot we picked was the site of a Boy Scout meet-up?  Hundreds and hundreds of boys and their families, marching all over!  It was pretty chilly, but Alaina was such a trooper and just killed me with all of her faces.  I think we could make an old-school flip book with the images I captured:)

One of these days I’m going to have to hire a second shooter – or maybe even a videographer – to come along and capture Shannon, Adam, and me during their sessions! I can only imagine what we look like…I just don’t think words can do it justice.  If you take a look at some of these pictures, you can get a pretty good look at what we were doing though because I’m pretty sure she was mocking us and making the same faces right back at us!

As always, this family is PURE joy and love.  It is a blessing to me to spend time with families who live in the moment and enjoy the little things.  And there’s no doubt about it – Alaina is one special little girl ♥  Can’t wait to see what she has in store for me at our next session!!!

the browns | fall 2012

Karin booked her family’s fall session MONTHS ago (thank you…I ♥ planners!), and as luck would have it, by the time fall actually came around, so did a lot of rain.  She was awesome and flexible, and we made their session happen on our third attempt!  It was a little chilly, but we worked fast, and I am in love with the happy, playful, love-filled images we captured.  I am particularly smitten with this sister-duo.  I  know these pictures will be special to them for years and years to come:)

molly | 1 year session

I was so excited to see Miss Molly again!  When I saw her during the summer, she couldn’t even really sit up on her own, and this time she was on the move!  She was ALL ABOUT daddy at this session, and it was really adorable to see her follow him, whether it be literally following him or just following him with her eyes, no matter where she was or what she was doing.  I just ADORE the images from this session and want to post all of them!  I’m restraining myself and just choosing a few favorites – it was extra hard this time!  Happy first year to this adorable, loving family ♥
